All original texts, phrases and images of this entire site are property of Abarim Publications, and Abarim Publications is property of Arie Uittenbogaard.
All original texts, phrases and images of this website are registered with the Library of Congress/ US Copyright Office, under registration number TXu1-364-624. Infringement of copyright is punishable with a fine of up to 150,000 USD.
Usage of original texts, phrases and images presented within this site is permitted only when:
- the source (© www.abarim-publications.com 2000-2007, as an active link in case of publication on a website) is mentioned along with the material.
- you tell us what you want to use, kindly ask permission from us and get it (should be no problem; use the form below).
- you have paid what we quoted you after you contacted us.
What we quote depends entirely on who you are and what you want to use the material for.
If your publication is set up mainly to earn money, you're commercial. If your publication is set up mainly to entertain or inform and you sell a few relevant books through Amazon to cover your costs, you're not commercial.
If you are commercial, then we are too, and charge you regular writer's fee according to the nature of your publication and length of the material (ranging from 50 bucks for The Gloucester Times to 2500 dollars for The New Yorker).
If you work for a non-commercial school newspaper or mission or church or something along those lines, we won't charge you more than a hardy prayer.
Brief quotes or references are also free, with the proviso that the source is mentioned, see above under point 1.
Requests to use material are always welcome and will be enthusiastically responded to. But our SPAM filters are pretty tight: Any message without "Request to use material from Abarim Publications" as subject, and any form-submission without a valid email address will not be seen by human eyes other than yours. Your message will be automatically deleted upon arrival.

Privacy statement
We receive quite a bit of mail (which has resulted in many dear friendships over the years), but no one here imagines that this modest volume of email addresses would go for much on the open market. And even if someone here accidentally finds out how that works, we would never trade our good name and your valued privacy for anything.
When you write us, you will receive a minimum of two responses. One will contain our reply to your inquiry or comments. The other one will inform you that Abarim Publication's novel Cross On Me is available (which will be sometime early 2008). After that, your email address will be deleted.
