טרד
The verb טרד (tarad), meaning to pursue, chase or to be continuous. In the Bible this verb occurs twice and only to describe the tedious, irritating constant dripping of rain (one in which one drop pursues another, says BDB Theological Dictionary), and how that is alike the whining of a contentious woman (Proverbs 19:13 and 27:15).
