Jidlaph Jidlaph

Jidlaph is a son of Nahor with Milcah.

The name Jidlaph comes from the verb dalap (dalap 434) meaning drop, drip. This verb occurs only three times; Job 16:20, `my eye drips to God. O that a man might plead with God as a man with his neighbour!'; Ps 119:28, `My soul drips because of grief; strengthen me according to Thy word'; Eccl 10:18: 'Through indolence the rafters sag, and through slackness the house drips.'

The name Jidlaph means He Drips, but NOBSE chooses for the more descriptive He Weeps.
