— The Human Reproductive Cycle and the Bible —

Israel was conceived when Jacob encountered the Angel of God and moved to Egypt to develop. Goshen is therefore the maternal womb of Israel and the exodus may hence be considered Israel's birth.

When Israel was born she went through a period of internal organization1, just like it takes a newborn child a while to understand that all her parts belong to her. The deposit of the Law in Israel coincides with the establishment of a Self according to the child's genetic constitution. The Law, after all, existed before its manifestation in the Books of Moses. The 'genetic' code that made Israel who she was had not only been placed at her core, but was also imbedded in every living cell that made her up. Every Israelite was to store the Law in his heart, upon his forehead and his arm. And because every Israelite had the identical 'genetic' code of mind the people of Israel could be a singular living society.

🔼The Ovulation of Jesus

From a human perspective Jesus was born as just another Jew (as just another cell in the larger body). But when He began to preach, the entire body of Israel began to revolt against Him. The same thing happens when a girl enters into her menstruation cycle and the Graafian follicle begins to excrete hormonal impulses. The body of the girl will render the ripened ovum a diseased and poisonous member and will begin to expel it as a foreign object. As soon as the ovum leaves the ovary and enters the Fallopian tube, it is technically spoken outside the girl's body. It can be expelled without having to permeate skin or membrane of any kind. The womb and Fallopian tubes sit in a woman like a patio in a house. And as soon as a woman ovulates the ovum is expelled from the physical economy of the woman and is technically dead, just like any other part of a body would be dead after amputation.

Just like the ovum, Christ died on Golgotha and departed from the human realm. And likewise, an unfertilized ovum is expelled by the ways of physical wastes, Golgotha was the public dump of Jerusalem.

🔼The Conception of Jesus

And then the miracle happened: While Jesus was sliding down Israel's mental Fallopian tube and was very much going the way of the dodo, the Spirit of the Lord met Him and the executed ovum was turned into a zygote; a single cellular human being who was taken back into the woman's bodily economy when it nestled into the womb wall.

But an ovum that turns to zygote is no longer just another cell. It has become a corporeal equivalent of the mother; a people. When Jesus was resurrected and appeared to the apostles he looked like a single human just like the zygote looks like a single cell. But when Jesus ascended into heaven the Spirit of God descended and the Church began to be. Ecclesiasts, therefore, are the living cells that make up the growing body of Christ. Their genetic constitution is a merger between Law and Holy Spirit. And just like a baby is growing inside a woman's womb, with a bloodstream all of its own and fed through a placenta, so is the body of Christ growing in the world, with an understanding of reality all of its own, and fed through a placenta.

After it nestles in the womb wall, the zygote breaches into two parts: the placenta and the fetus. The fetal placenta contains the same genetic constitution as the child, but merges with the maternal placenta, which is made after the mother's genetic structure. The mother's body has no way to sense the child. The placenta is all knows. That what the world calls the Church is in fact that part of the Child that the world can recognize: an organization like any other one, with management structures and buildings and money matters. But what the world does not know is that beyond the visible Church there is a living creature growing with hardly a consciousness of its own and largely unaware of its situation2.

🔼The Birth of Jesus

It is just a matter of time when the event generally referred to as the Second Coming will be directly preceded by the birth of Ecclesia. It will be deeply unsettling for the world, just like a woman giving birth is torn between panic and internal violence. Just like once the ovum, Ecclesia will be rendered a foreign body by the mother, and driven out with much force. But just like Israel was met by the deposition of the Law, so will this child be met by the Creator.

Various theological schools debate the fate of the world after Ecclesia has departed from it. We are not entirely sure whether the world will survive the birth of her child, although we can be sure that she will suffer heavy damage, which means casualties among the people that make her up. Her bodily economy will certainly collapse and she will never be the same3. Of course it is up to God to decide what will happen to those that are not part of the child, but who have worked hard to nourish and keep the child. We may remember the words of Jesus when He states that some people will be saved even though they never knew that they had been serving Him. And the Book of Revelation speaks of the assembly of God reigning over the kings of the earth. Very likely there will be survivors of the birth and they will be guided by the child that was born to them.

The survival of a woman giving birth is largely depending on the degree of medical attention she receives. If the world is indeed self-similar to a woman about to give birth we owe her to search for ways to send a message back through the umbilical cord, while kicking against the womb wall to let her know that we are alive. She doesn't speak Christianese, she only understands capitalism, science and art. It is very important that apologetic theologians establish communication with the world to tell her what we know and what is of crucial significance for her. She may not be able to understand the nature and destiny of her child, but she must be told that she is pregnant and that birth is immanent.

Notes:

1) Exodus 18

2) The formal Church is obviously quite aware of itself, but that awareness is the social equivalent of the sub-soul of the placenta! Beyond the placenta lies a creature that has a consciousness that goes way beyond that of any social structure we know yet. The Baby is mostly sleeping and when it isn't, it's trashing about purely on reflexes and unmindful of anyone or anything else.

3) Revelation 18.
